John and Sheila met in October 2017 at a Haunted House in Colorado Springs. They started talking to each other about horror and Halloween movies that sparked their interests.
It wasn’t until weeks later that Sheila found John’s contact information and contacted him to see if he wanted to go on another “Adventure”, John was giddy and immediately accepted. A year later at the same Haunted House, John asked Sheila to go on an “Adventure of a Lifetime” and take his hand in marriage. John had arranged for the actors to help with the marriage proposal. The first ring was a plastic bat ring, but then followed by the real deal.
John and Sheila got married June 1, 2019. They continue to have a passion for spooky things and decided to start their own ghost tour business, Ghostly Emprise.
The couple began hosting walking historical ghost tours in Denver Capitol Hill as well as in Downtown Colorado Springs in January 2022. They hope to see you on a tour where you can join them on an adventure!

Sheila
Owner / Tour Guide
Sheila has studied the history and stories of the paranormal. She has given tours to both large and small groups of people of all ages. She has been recommended by well-known true crime podcast hosts and USA Today travel journalists across the country.
John
Owner / Tour Guide
John has been hosting the tour since it started in January 2022. He loves both the history and paranormal of the area in addition to running the business with his wife (who he proposed to in a Haunted House). Sheila does the Denver tour.
